COMPANY INTRODUCTION

Brooke Dockyard & Engineering Works Corporation (BDEWC) is an integrated engineering corporation. We build customized products (Primary Steel) with no compromise on safety and quality standards.

Brooke Dockyard prides itself as reputedly the oldest shipyard in Malaysia. The Corporation has its niche businesses in ship repair, shipbuilding and fabrication of oil & gas offshore modules. It is now accredited to ISO 9200 for shipbuilding works of 2500 DWT and fabrication of Structural Assemblies and Modules for Oil & Gas Industries. Its facilities at the main yard in Sejingkat are fully equipped to handle high-end engineering works such as offshore modules and state-of-the-art boats or vessels.

Brooke Dockyard believes in the policy of "Safety Comes First" and has now clocked around 4.2 million man-hours with no Lost Time Incident (LTI)

1912 (reputedly the oldest shipyard in Malaysia)

Status :
Government Statutory Body, 100% owned by the State Government of Sarawak under the Brooke Dockyard Engineering Works Corporation Ordinance (Cap. 100).
