BROOKE DOCKYARD SUCCESSFULLY LOADED OUT SOUTH ACIS SATELLITE (SA-SA) SUBSTRUCTURE

A significant milestone was achieved by Brooke Dockyard when South Acis Satellite (SA-SA) Substructure for Murphy Sarawak Oil Co. Ltd. was successfully loaded out on the 6th September 2014.   

The contract was awarded to Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation on the 14 November 2013.The contract covers Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of South Acis Satellite (SA-SA) Substructure for Murphy’s Sarawak SK309/311 SPSA Development Project .

The SA-SA Substructure weighing about 750 metric tonne was completed in 31st July 2014.The fabrication of SASA Substructure has achieved 215,672 man-hours without Lost Time Incident (LTI)

The Substructure plan to be sail away to its destination at South China Sea Offshore Sarawak, located approximately 40-80 km from Bintulu in water depth ranging from 35-50 meters and schedule to be installed by mid September 2014.
