Shell typically implements its HSE management system and standards in work delivered by service providers and contractors. For the first time in Malaysia, Brooke Dockyard was entrusted to use its own HSE management system in the fabrication of the E6 platform. This is a key step change in HSE management for Malaysia, and one of the first projects within Shell globally where work is conducted at the contractor's site and HSSE risks are managed under the contractor's own HSE management systems.
Shell has been a key partner to Sarawak in the growing energy industry and bringing global expertise to help local players compete on the world stage via knowledge and technology transfers in the development of Sarawak.
