HSE POLICY - "SAFETY COMES FIRST AND ZERO TIME INCIDENT (LTI)"

Safety is the driving culture of the corporation. No compromise have been made to ensure Brooke Dockyard is safe place for people to work not only for themselves but their families.

Safety Achievements

Brooke Dockyard has been rated at Level 2.60 (as at 2007) for Shell HSE Management System (HSE MS CLUB)

Amongst the Safety Awards received:
Safety Achievements :

Brooke Dockyard was recognised as the best Malaysian Company in Safety performance under year 2000/2001 by Petronas.

Among the safety awards received:

• Gold award under Project Fabrication category for 2000/2001 from Petronas for HSE Management System Fabrication Contractor Category.

• Health, Safety Environment Award from Sarawak Shell Malaysia for the completion of SFJT-C Fabrication and Topsides without LTI in 2001.

• Certificate of achievement from Murphy Sarawak Oil for the completion of WP-IA Topsides.

• Murphy Safety Award for the achievement of 250,000 workhours with no lost time incident for the Fabrication of West Patricia Production A Platform in March 2004.

HSE Accreditation :

Brooke Dockyard has certified OHSAS 18001:2007 for Fabrication of Structural Assemblies and Modules for Oil & Gas Industries and the construction of ships up to 2500 DWT by SIRIM QAS International in October 2009.
