Friday, 19 March 2010, BROOKE DOCKYARD ACHIEVED SECOND HSE MILESTONES OF 800,000 MANHOURS WITHOUT LTI

Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation achieved their second manhours milestones of 800,000 man-hours without Lost Time Incident (LTI) for St Joseph Redevelopment Project on 19th March 2010.

YB Dato Seri Michael Manyin Jawong, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Communication congratulated the Project Team and handed over a certificate of appreciation to the team during his first official visit to Brooke Dockyard’s Fabrication Yard at Sejingkat, Off Jalan Bako on the 26 March 2010.

Also present during his visits were both the Assistant Ministers, YB Datuk (Dr) Lee Kim Shin and YB Datuk Haji Daud Abdul Rahman, Chairman and Board Members of Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation. The First Manhours Milestone of 300,000 manhours was achieved in December 2009. The Project Team is working towards achieving the next manhours milestone of 1.2 million manhours without LTI. The planned manhours for the project is 1.3 million manhours by project target completion date in August 2010.
